Meet the Moms behind Coco Knows Best

  • Chloe Case AKA Coco

    Co-Founder

    I am a mom of a 2.5 year old and 2 month old. I was born and raised on the space coast but graduated from UCF for elementary education. Here, I met my husband and after we both graduated decided to stay in Orlando for a while. That was over a decade ago. I taught for a few years in early childhood then became a professional nanny for 7 years including during covid. During my time as a nanny, I learned many different ways to keep two very adventurous boys both under 3 busy without screens (and with lots of snacks.) Having my own children has only cemented the love I have seeing their excitement to learn new things and the importance of “having a village”. Enters Danielle into my life one fateful Fourth of July. Our shared experiences as stay at home moms and former teachers, we connected and started building what would become Coco Knows Best.

  • Danielle Fingulin

    Co-Founder

    I’m Danielle, co-owner of Coco Knows Best, an educator, and a mom with a passion for learning and teaching. Originally from the Gainesville area, I met my husband in 2010, and we married in 2018. Together, we enjoy traveling, espresso, and hiking.

    Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I loved teaching first grade. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education specializing in reading and over a decade of experience working with children. I now use my skills to parent our two wonderful kids—a curious 4-year-old girl and an adventurous 2-year-old boy. Our family time includes; tending our garden, taking care of our chickens, and spending time with our extended family.

    In 2022, we moved to Orlando to be closer to family, where I met Coco, my new neighbor and now best friend. Connecting on our backgrounds as educators and our love of parenting, we identified a need for developmentally appropriate, family-friendly activities. This shared vision inspired us to launch Coco Knows Best.

    I’m excited to share this journey with you and bring joy through developmentally enriching play into your family’s life!

How we got here

Coco Knows Best began with a simple goal: to enrich playtime and ease the challenges of keeping young children engaged. As educators, we often heard from families looking for ways to keep their little ones busy, without relying on screens, while also managing their own to-do lists. But it wasn’t until we became parents to toddlers ourselves that we truly understood the daily challenge of balancing productivity with providing stimulating, educational play.

Using our backgrounds in education, we designed sensory bins—open-ended, hands-on activities—to keep our own children curious and engaged. The bins captivated not only our kids but also their friends and cousins. That’s when the idea struck us: packaging this type of enriching play could be just what other families and caregivers need. And so, Coco Knows Best was born.
